Patient reviewing health data from remote monitoring device

Remote monitoring allows your care team to review important sleep and health metrics collected through connected devices. This guide helps you understand the key data shown in your SleepEz web portal.

1. Where to View Your Data

You can access your monitoring results directly on the SleepEz website:

  • Log into your account using your secure patient credentials.
  • Navigate to My Data or Monitoring Reports to see your uploaded results.
  • Reports are updated regularly by your care team based on device readings submitted during setup or follow-up visits.

2. Common Terms on Your Report

  • AHI (Apnea-Hypopnea Index): Shows the number of breathing pauses per hour. Lower values typically reflect better treatment response.
  • Usage Hours: Indicates how many hours per night your therapy device was used. Most insurance plans recommend at least 4 hours per night.
  • Oxygen Saturation (SpO₂): Displays the percentage of oxygen in your blood during sleep. Healthy levels usually stay above 90%.
  • Leak Rate: Reflects any mask or system leaks that may reduce CPAP effectiveness.

3. Interpreting the Trends

  • Look for consistent usage and stable AHI values over time.
  • Sudden changes in oxygen or leak rates may require equipment checks or adjustment.
  • If anything seems unusual, make note of it and discuss it during your next SleepEz follow-up.

4. What If Numbers Are Out of Range?

While some fluctuation is normal, contact your SleepEz provider if you observe:

  • AHI staying above 5 despite regular therapy use.
  • Very low oxygen readings (below 88%).
  • Minimal or no usage reported for several nights.

5. Data Privacy and Security

  • Your health data is stored securely on our HIPAA-compliant servers.
  • Only authorized SleepEz care professionals can view your records.
  • You may request access or a printed copy of your reports at any time.

Understanding your monitoring data helps you stay informed and engaged in your sleep therapy journey. If you have any questions about your results, our support team is here to assist.
